Food Pantry Partnerships:

We partner with the Food Bank of Iowa to provide a variety of food in each box.
Volunteers pack boxes of shelf-stable food. Frozen meat, produce, dairy, and bread are added just before distribution.
We are an equal opportunity provider. The full version of the Nondiscrimination Statement is available on the FNS website.

The First Presbyterian Food Pantry was established in May 2012 and served 72 households. We now serve 290 to 300 households each month. Our volunteer staff and financial support come from church members and friends outside the church.
We purchase the food from the Food Bank of Iowa and try to provide a variety of nonperishable foods, frozen meat, dairy, fresh produce, and bread. Each household receives one box of food.
Income requirements are determined by the Iowa Dept. of Health and Human Services. Proof of name and address is requested. We are an equal opportunity provider.
We strive to meet each need with Christ-like compassion, respect, and dignity. We feel blessed to have this opportunity to show God’s love to those around us.
